IM IN HELL AGRGG IM SO BUSY, MOVIES, I MISS MY DOG
perhaps it would be wise to set a weekly reminder for this thing.
i have had a week of chaos, i tell you. this week marked my final week for doing manager duties for my manager while she's away, something i have been so frustrated about it's unbelievable. last week, i was so unbelievably sick - rare feat, because i genuinely haven't taken a sick day in 3yrs because my immune system is just pretty good. but, yeah no i'm so overworked and tired and stressed and i think my body is just over it and i had a rough cold for a few days, a well as a couple of days off work in general. kind of worked out well though - i said goodbye to my lovely old girl on the 14th. she was a wonderful dog, and i had an incredible 16yrs with her. i wish i could have shared her whole life with people; she was very special, and i miss her a lot. it was nice to have that week home with her, even under the circumstances of being sick as hell.
other much brighter exciting news is that i'm finally on proper medication for my adhd! actual, long release tablets that i can just take in the morning and have a fucking normal day. it's incredible. genuinely life changing, i wish it hadn't been so hard to get here. have a revisit with my psychiatrist in 2mo time and then after that, i'm getting 6mo scripts. god bless.
other silly little hobbies and interests things: been getting really into ghost (band) recently! i saw a full proshot live show on youtube and watched it; i've kind of always been distantly into their music but i fell deep in this rabbit hole. great band! next time they tour australia, i'm nabbing tickets. i said i would do more live music stuff this year, which i have been doing! i went to a little local live indie gig on the weekend, which was super fun! i'm also going to 21p in november, AND mother mother!
